Manufacturers recommend that your vehicle’s air conditioning should be recharged with gas and lubricant every 2 years to keep it running effectively and efficiently. This service isn’t usually part of your annual vehicle service so if your vehicle is over 2 years old then a recharge is probably due. The use of nitrogen to fill your tyres as opposed to compressed air ensures that your tyre pressure stays at the recommended threshold for a greater period. This is due to the rate at which nitrogen passes through the walls of your tyres (which is considerably slower than oxygen) meaning your tyres stay at their optimum pressure for longer.
